The company talks a lot about security, regulation, and transparent conditions, yet it only mentions a license from the FSCA (South Africa), which is not enough to be considered a reliable broker. Moreover, why the rebranding? Was the old name buried under a wave of negative reviews, prompting management to change it in order to start fresh? In any case, let’s take a closer look at this platform and determine whether Market10 is a scam.
The company was previously known as Investico. The official website under the new brand looks more stripped-down than the old one. While the previous version featured a white background, the current design uses black with neon and white highlights that are harsh on the eyes. The main menu consists of just four sections:
Notably absent are essential sections like About Us, Contacts, and Platforms. Market10 has relocated these to the bottom of the page, along with the FAQ and legal documents. The “About Us” section reveals very little about the company. Essentially, it only mentions regulation by the FSCA — there is no founding date, no names of the founders, and no description of the business model. The site lacks a brand history or any explanation for the name change from Investico.
The homepage immediately starts selling the dream: “Trade Anywhere”, “Security”, “Regulation”, and “24/5 Support” — everything is nicely packaged but lacks substance. It’s all written in vague and generalized terms. This is a classic tactic used by high-risk brokers: fill the site with meaningless, pseudo-inspirational text to create a sense of grandeur and professionalism.
The website supports several languages, including European and Asian ones. Market10 also lists its legal entity name and address. That is certainly a positive point, but it is still far from enough to consider the company secure.
Users have several ways to contact Market10 managers: phone, email, and online chat. The chat is not available 24/7 and often shows as “offline”. There is only one email address, which is typically a slow communication method, and hardly anyone uses phone calls in 2025.
Market10 offers several account types: Basic, Gold, Platinum, and VIP. The accounts differ in minimum deposit requirements and spreads. Each higher-tier account provides better spreads but requires significantly more capital. For example, the Basic account starts at $250, while Gold requires at least $25,000. Platinum demands a minimum of $100,000, and VIP starts at $250,000. These requirements are unreasonable. While the entry-level tier is somewhat acceptable, from the second tier onward, the broker is clearly overreaching.
The company operates on a classic scam model — “keep more money on your balance to get better conditions”. This way, the broker extracts as much capital as possible from its clients. No reputable and regulated firm conducts business this way.
As for commissions, there are none. Clients only pay the spread, which starts at 3 pips by default and drops to 1.6 pips on the highest-tier account. That seems relatively low, given the lack of trading commissions. However, it appears that Market10 profits not as an intermediary but as a dealing desk. In other words, the more traders lose their deposits, the more the platform earns.
While there are no trading commissions, there are other fees: account inactivity fees, withdrawal fees, swaps, and rollovers. Additional features include educational materials, analytics, a demo account, and customer support. However, there is nothing unique or particularly useful here that would provide real value to traders.
At this stage, we cannot definitively claim that this is a scam. After all, the contact information is real, and the trading conditions, while not ideal due to a conflict of interest, are fairly standard. So let’s examine the licenses, legal details, and other factors to determine whether or not Market10 is a scam.
The legal entity, Faraz Financial Services, received an FSCA license in 2021. This is confirmed through the official regulator’s registry. The brand was previously known as Investico. According to WebArchive snapshots, the platform has indeed been operating since 2021, as the domain was listed for sale before that.
The FSCA is South Africa’s financial sector regulator. It does issue licenses to brokers, but there is an important caveat: this license is valid only within South Africa. It is not recognized in the European Union, the United States, Canada, or most other jurisdictions with strict financial oversight. In other words, if you are not South African, the license offers you no real protection. The FSCA provides no compensation mechanisms, no deposit insurance, and no mandatory client protection funds — unlike ASIC in Australia or CySEC in Cyprus. At best, you can file a complaint, but even that offers no guarantees. This is why the platform does not accept clients from the U.S. or the EU.
Market10 claims that client funds are held in segregated accounts. However, no bank names, jurisdictions, or control mechanisms are mentioned. It’s just words. If the broker disappears tomorrow, no compensation fund will come to your rescue. There is no insurance, no reimbursement — nothing. For comparison, AvaTrade insures client deposits up to €20,000, and Interactive Brokers up to $500,000 through SIPC. Here, there is absolutely no protection. All you have is hope in the honesty of an unknown South African company.
There are currently no reviews of Market10, as the rebranding took place only recently. However, we can look at reviews of Investico. The situation there is quite clear. Comments fall into two categories:
The company lacks serious regulation and extensive experience, meaning there are no guarantees of reliability. The rebranding itself raises suspicion, especially since there is no clear explanation for why it was done. All things considered, Market10 is a highly risky and suspicious trading platform, and it’s best not to take the risk.
Helen always knew that her passion for journalism was more than just a hobby. It was a potential career. She began her professional journey at a local newspaper in the small town where she was born. Writing on a variety of topics, from local news to financial reviews, her persistence and investigative talent soon caught the attention of editors at larger publications. We are thrilled that Helen accepted our offer and now writes for fincapital-reviews. Her exposés always create a buzz. Sometimes, we think Helen could easily open her own detective agency.
I am sharing my experience with Market10 because it raised several red flags and left me extremely concerned about the safety and transparency of the platform. During my time using the service, I encountered multiple issues, including: • Internal account transactions that I did not authorize, such as BALANCE and CREDIT OUT operations • Sudden changes in my account balance without any action from my side • Multiple trades being closed at the exact same minute with no clear market reason • Unusual entries like “Zeroing Deficits”, which I have never seen with any regulated broker • Significant difficulty withdrawing my funds despite having a positive balance • Discrepancies between expected trading behavior and what actually happened in the account These issues made my experience with Market10 feel unsafe and highly unreliable. What I encountered goes far beyond normal trading losses — it involved unexplained transactions that affected my balance directly. I am posting this review to help others make an informed decision. I strongly encourage anyone considering Market10 to verify the company’s licensing, regulation, and credibility before depositing any money. (This is my personal experience, and others may have different outcomes.)
i already suffered this setuation never go for market 10, completely scammers,if you want to throw your money in the garbage then go, they bring the peoples by tricks and never send there profit when you withdraw it, so i completely recommend thats they are scammers. even once you do your investment then forget it, they will never return you.
I faced similar scam and manipulation with this Company. Especially from the assigned Accounts Manager who was the reason for pushing me to deposit all me Money in the platform with profit promises. there was profit made but i was not able to make any withdrawal since they kept telling me that i need to deposit more money in order to protect my capital. Unfortunately, i have no experience in such market and ended up with huge amount of money deposited which was not my plan. and till they credited out all me profits suddenly without prior approval or notification and I left with zero balance. despite having open and active deals with potential profit. Now I made a withdrawal request with the remaining profit which they kept on hold and delay the approval pretending that they need copies of my credit/debit cards. I had to use several cards even from my friend to cover the loss they caused me and now they insisted on having copy of all cards which i canceled some of them. still fighting to get my right and me money which is still pending with them with no proper response of assistance from their side. please be careful and do not deal with his firm and especially do not listen to the account manager who cares only about pushing you to the edge and mislead with the information to get your money. They are quick in deceiving you and take your money, but they ignore you once you need their support.
I see no reason to trust this company. There is no solid regulation, no positive reputation, and no unique advantages. What’s the point in risking your money? I see none. As an experienced trader, I strongly recommend avoiding this scam. I am even convinced the price quotes here are fake
I dealt with Investico – this was the worst broker I’ve ever used! As soon as I switched platforms, I started making profits. While trading here, I was only losing money. I do not recommend Market10. You will face issues with order execution and withdrawals. The spreads are not 3 pips as advertised – they’re more like 6-8 pips, even on major currency pairs. I do not even want to imagine the spreads on exotic pairs!
